USER REVIEW I had this fire safety for over 10 years and am very happy with its quality. I'm worried after reading these comments is not the fire "test", but the fire "resistant". I hope that if ever exposed to fire, it would stand the heat! I'd love to hear from anyone who has had the unfortunate experience of having a fire safe tested in a real fire. As with other comments it is not "theft-proof." This is not the type of security that is used to protect against burglaries. Luckily that is not evidence of theft, because if it is blocked by fire, I'd know that I can enter the box to access my belongings. I am only giving it 4 stars because I have no idea if this were in a fire.

REVIEW This is my second Sentry safe, and like before I'm extremely satisfied. I wanted a safe and affordable security that would comfortably fit two laptops (one 14 "and 15") and assorted other items of value and this fits the bill. And 'well-structured, extremely robust and easy to manage electronic keyboard (uses 4 AA batteries) which opens with the chosen security code. The electronic keyboard can be annulled by the keys included in case you forget the code or the batteries die. (I have had this safe for over 8 months and the batteries are still going strong) There's a metal shelf inside that can be removed to store bulky items. The floor of the safe has a gray carpet-like coating. One of the things that sold me on this sure you can easily store two medium-sized laptops and still have room for other things. Many of the safes of others in this price range could not even entered the 'a 15 "laptop. The safe can be bolted to the floor or wall (hardware included) or attached to another object with the metal cable included. Since this is a "safe security, which means that it is not fireproof. I bought this safe after reading numerous reviews from other consumers. And 'arrived very quickly and was well packaged.
